As you may have figured out by now I love flowers. Making flowers with all different mediums such as fabric and paper. I have yet to try polymer clay, but I am looking forward to that adventure.
For the April Wreath I made spring flowers out of tissue paper. And for the March Wreath, you may recall, I made shamrocks out of fabric. Well this month I am using flowers that were made the Master Flower Maker Himself.
GOD!
That’s right, real flowers. What better way to celebrate the month of June but with potted flowers?
I chose flowers of different shapes and sizes. For the last few weeks I have been trying to encourage them to bloom. After they felt safe and secure I took them out of the pots and ripped them apart.
I needed small “pots” that would keep them moist, so I loosely wrapped the roots with plastic wrap. This way I will be able to water them throughout the month without making a huge mess all over the door.
After I wrapped them I stuffed them into a vine wreath.
So? What do you think? Do you like it?
I love it! And go figure, all the flowers are purple!
Lovely, purple is my favourite.
